Cowboys Get Hot, Win First Road Game of Season at Cincinnati
Oklahoma State's men's basketball team shot 56 percent from the field and made a late run to beat Cincinnati 80-76 for their first true road win of the season on Wednesday night at Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Cowboys had all five starters score in double figures, and went 8-for-8 at the free throw line in the final two minutes to seal their second straight win.
Javon Small had 19 points to lead all scorers.
JaMyron Keller had 15 points and Brandon Garrison had 14 points.
Quion Williams added 12 points and John-Michael Wright 11 points, including a three-pointer with just over two minutes left to give OSU a four-point lead.
The game featured six ties and eight lead changes, with the Cowboys taking the lead for good with about three and a half minutes to play.
OSU improved to 12-14 overall, 4-9 in Big 12 play.
The Cowboys next game is against Oklahoma Saturday at 3:00 in Stillwater, in the final regular season conference meeting between the Bedlam rivals.
