‘This is NOT a drill’ Beauty fans rejoice as viral Primark bronzing drops are back in stock & there’s a new addition too
THEY were a total sellout when they were first released.
But beauty fans have been waiting for months for Primark to restock their viral bronzing drops.
And they’ve now got reason to celebrate, as Primark stores all over the country are stocking their shelves with the drops – a dupe of the Drunk Elephant ones.
There’s also a new addition, in the form of some “instant blusher drops”.
Both the bronzing and blusher drops are £3.50.
“THIS IS NOT A DRILL!” the Primark Basildon TikTok account captioned their video.
“Instant Bronzing and Blusher drops now in stock !!!”
The drops contain hyaluronic acid and marula oil, and are “blendable for an instant glow”.
The video showed the “vegan and cruelty free” products in their tubes, before swatching on a hand.
“Light and smooth on the skin,” they added.
“£3.50! Run don’t walk!”
People were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: “You don’t understand, I screamed when I saw them!”
“OMG, I neeeeddd!!” another added.
“GOT BOTH OMG!” a third gushed.
“Nah I’m sprinting speeding,” someone else insisted.
“If you’re planning to use them make sure you use moisturiser with it,” another advised.
“I’m coming tomorrow!” someone else wrote, tagging Primark Basildon.
“Please say they won’t all be gone when I get there!
“Hope I get them!”
Not everyone is a fan of the bronzing drops though.
Make-up artist Kia admitted she got “so much hate” when she tried the drops out before and “hated them”.
“So I tried them again and I still hated them,” she admitted in a video on her TikTok page.
“So I’ve bought the new ones in the hope that I’m actually going to like these.”
As the consensus was she’d used “not enough moisturiser, too much bronzing drops”, Kia decided to apply the drops as she’d seen others doing – putting a blob of moisturiser at various points on her face, with a teeny blob of the drops next to it.
She then used her fingers to start rubbing it in.
“Oh my god, I’m trying not to panic but I’m looking like an Oompa Loompa!” she said.
As things began to get even worse, Kia said: “I’m going to start again because there is no way that is going to work.”
She then used a make-up wipe to remove the product from her face, and started again by mixing the moisturiser and drops on the back of her hand.
“Why is this so dark? Why don’t they do different shades?”she complained.
While she thought the application method was a much better way of using the bronzing drops, she wasn’t pleased with the final look.
“I just can’t get it to work. It’s a no from me, I’m sorry!” she concluded.
Kia “hated” the drops the last time she used them, so decided to give them another go[/caption] But she started panicking as she looked like an “Oompa Loompa”[/caption] Even when applied correctly, it was still a no from Kia, who urged Primark to release lighter shades in the drops[/caption]
