‘RUN AWAY’ urge Zara fans after spotting jeans that look like they’ve been sitting ‘at the bottom’ of your wardrobe
HORRIFIED fashionistas are urging shoppers to ”run away” from Zara after spotting a brand new pair of creased-effect denim bottoms.
Zara have long been a high street favourite for many – whether you’re after a perfume ”dupe” that smells like Armani or a dress that makes your boobs look bigger.
However, despite having several wins in the recent months, one of their latest additions to the fashion aisles has proved to be a bit of a flop amongst customers.
In fact, the new item – TRF Creased-effect Mid-rise Jeans – has left style lovers so horrified, they’ve even advised others to steer clear from the popular retailer.
The dark-wash jeans feature a creased design that even appears to look a little wet, as well as five pockets and a metal button fastening.
The mid-rise bottoms, which the brand had paired with the Y2K-inspired ballet pumps and a black studded belt, scan for £49.99.
Keen to bag a pair? Shoppers can snap up the jeans in a range of sizes, from UK size 4 to UK size 18, and you can also order them online directly from the website.
But after one of the customers, Charlotte Pratt, took to TikTok to share the find, more than a thousand people flocked to comments in sheer horror.
”Don’t walk, RUN away,” wrote one mortified social media user.
Someone else chuckled: ”My mum would lose it and try iron them out.”
”The jeans I forgot I had when I find them at the bottom of my wardrobe,” another penned, as a fourth described them as having a ‘bin bag’ effect.
”Can’t wait to wear this, hope the bin men don’t take me away with this.”
”How my jeans be looking outta the washing machine,” a fashionista joked.
On the lookout for ”comfortable” denim bottoms that have a great stretch and are great for the upcoming Spring season?
One woman, Sarah-Jane Louise, a size 16, may have found the perfect pick – and it’s not from a high-street fashion store, but Tesco.
Their brand new ‘Slim Mom’ jeans retail for £19.50 and come in a trendy light-wash denim colour, ideal for pairing with a simple white T-shirt.
Raving about her bargain find, the fashionista said: “They have a little bit of stretch but I sized up and they’re perfect for me.”
Although this wardrobe staple is priced at £19.50, you can save a whopping 25 per cent if you have a Clubcard – the jeans will scan for just £14.62 a pair.
As well as the jeans, the mum had also gone home with a new grey cardigan, a hooded jacket, a suede-look gilet, a beige tracksuit and green parka coat.
It’s not just the stylish parent impressed with the jeans – fellow fashion lovers, too, praised Tesco for their fashion lines.
”Oh wow, I need to check my local Tesco. You look stunning,” one said.
Another agreed, writing: “You look amazing. Love those jeans.”
Someone else chimed in: “The jeans are amazing. I have two pairs.”
