I married a pathological liar who I thought was a high-flying businessman – so I made a 50-part series to bring him down
WHEN you start a new relationship you tend to take what they say as verbatim – but one woman has warned against this after realising her husband was a pathological liar.
Reesa Teesa has now shared her cautionary tale on social media – and it has the entire world hooked with her 50-part documentary.
The American woman shared how her year-long marriage quickly fell apart and has gripped audiences with her detailed story on her now ex-husband who she claims was a ‘pathological liar’ who duped her into getting hitched.

The relationship started off like a fairy tale – with Reesa revealing he told her everything she wanted to hear.
The man, who she has dubbed as ‘Legion’ gave her the promise of a new home, luxury holidays and a car – but the web of lies quickly unravelled.
After a year of marriage Reesa was able to piece it all together, finding out he had lied about almost every element of his life.
Not only did he promise a life he couldn’t deliver, he lied about bank documents and job offers to pretend he was a wealthy businessman – rather than the forklift driver he really was.

He also is alleged to have faked countless phone calls and taken his ex-wife shopping for a new car – all under the guise that he was a Vice President of a condiment company.
But it was the furthest thing from the truth as Legion had no money to his name and a habit of lying, something his first ex-wife confirmed to Reesa.
After the truth emerged, she filed for divorce, and later shared her excruciating ordeal in a TikTok series titled: “Who TF Did I Marry?”
She told TikTok viewers she was going to “tell the story of how I met, dated, married and divorced a real pathological liar”.
“I’m going to be truthful, even if it makes me look bad,” she shared.
“I’m going to be honest, but I’m also not going to be disrespectful.”
The first red flag she ignored was the fact she had matched with her ex-husband on two different dating sites – Facebook and Hinge back in 2020.
While it’s not uncommon for people to use multiple sites – her man had decided to use two different names for each.
She continued: “You will notice in this story, I called it the United Nations of red flags.
“It is so many red flags that, I mean, you would have thought I was colour blind because I ignored all of them.”
It didn’t put her off though, and when the lockdowns happened due to Covid 19 a few weeks later, he moved in with Reesa.
“I know it was crazy but I really liked him. Things moved at a rapid, rapid pace,” she explained. “He was telling me everything that I wanted to hear.”
SNEAKY SUSPICION
At this point, she alleges he had already started lying – with claims he would buy them a house with money he had in an offshore bank.
But Reesa soon because suspicious as whenever the pair were close to buying a problem would always arise to ruin their plans.
“I remember thinking, ‘What if we don’t get this house? What if he’s lying?’ But who makes up that they’re buying a house when they’re not?” she shared.
“There was always an excuse with him and I didn’t know enough about the process to question stuff.”
Amid the chaos, Reesa fell pregnant but tragically lost the child and was sent to hospital for surgery.
Legion was no where to be seen insisting he was ‘too busy’ with work to be by her side.
Everything he says is a lie.

She decided to push her concerns to the side, and the pair married with Legion continuing to promise a house, and now also a car.
But once again, none of the plans came to fruition as he made up excuse after excuse.
She claims he told one lie that was too big to ignore and she began to get receipts of the red flags she had been sensing since the start of their relationship.
Reesa claims Legion told her his ex-wife, who has two kids that he’s very close to, had lost her daughter due to Covid, stating he needs to send her money.
Around the same time she said she noticed a discrepancy in his social security number.
PENNY DROPS
She went scavenging through his documents and found his ex-wife’s number in their divorce documents – so Reesa decided to give her a call.
Shockingly, the young girl wasn’t dead but perfectly fine – and he hadn’t sent his ex-wife any money.
Legion’s ex-wife also delivered a warning, telling Reesa “everything he says is a lie”.
After the bombshell – it didn’t take long for their relationship to completely fall apart, with Reesa now sharing her story on tikTok.
People have been seriously invested in the story – with many claiming they haven’t been watching Tv, instead opting to watch her 7-hour 50-part series instead.
“This story is actually insane,” one penned.
“Netflix needs to sign this up fast,” another remarked.
“I’ve not watched TV in days,” someone else confessed.
Reesa has since revealed she shared her story to help others after feeling “embarrassed” and “shocked” by her own actions.
She wanted to share her story with the aim of helping someone else who is “ignoring red flags” and “making bad decisions”.
