Weekend things to do: ‘Jagged Little Pill,’ soap-opera hunks, cult-fave tapas and Napoleon Dynamite (in person!)
In case you were not aware, The Day Players are a band composed of four hunks known from long-running daytime soap operas, who are bringing their tour to a few targeted markets around the country.
How do they choose where to go? The algorithms are quite advanced, but suffice it to say that South Florida was deemed a high-value target. They know what they’re doing.
The band includes Wally Kurth (“Days of Our Lives” and “General Hospital”), Eric Martsolf (“Days of Our Lives” and “Passions”), Brandon Barash (“General Hospital”) and Carson Boatman (“Days of Our Lives”). Of course you and I have never heard of them, but she has.
They will bring music and storytelling to the intimate Dania Improv in Dania Beach on Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $55+ and, depending on how close she wants to get, two (two!) levels of VIP meet-and-greets for $125+ and $225+. Get them at DaniaImprov.com.For more on the band, visit TheDayPlayersBand.com.
The rest of the weekend looks like this …
THURSDAY
