‘I NEED to try this!’ people say as woman shares £1.49 buy that gets rid of mould in no time and the results are amazing
A WOMAN has shared how she removes mould from her bedroom – leaving many very impressed.
Kiraa Louise, 23, a cleaning fan from the UK, explained that thanks to some cotton wool pads and a £1.49 product from Asda, your home will be mould-free in no time.
According to Kiraa, the results of this mould cleaning hack are ‘amazing’ – so if you’ve got stubborn mould that just won’t shift, you’ll need to pay attention.
Particularly if you’ve tried everything from cat litter and salt to dehumidifiers, this cheap trick is one you won’t want to miss.
Sharing her advice on social media, Kiraa wrote: “My favourite way of removing mould!”
She then said: “I noticed that I’ve got so much mould growing around my window sill so I just wanted to show you my favourite way of getting rid of it.”
As she used a squeegee, she shared: “I just started off by getting rid of all the moisture on my window.”
Kiraa then showed off her favourite spray, as she continued: “And then sprayed all of the mouldy patches with my Astonish Mould & Mildew remover [spray].
“This is my absolute favourite.
“What I then like to do is go in with cotton pads and just place them on top of the spray.
“This helps to keep in the moisture and makes the product work so much better.
“I’d say I probably left that for a good hour and then I’m wiping as I go, all the way down.”
Kiraa proudly showed off the results, as she beamed: “And look at that – the mould is completely gone.
“It was a bit tricky for me doing it higher up because I’m so short – but hey, we got there in the end.
“I think the results are absolutely amazing.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @cleanwith_kiraa, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and has since racked up 1.9 million views.
Social media users were thankful for the advice and were keen to express this in the comments.
