Fourth person arrested in connection to Watervliet shooting
WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A fourth person was arrested in connection to a Watervliet shooting that happened on Tuesday, January 23. Kendryek Flynn (21, Watervliet), faces multiple charges.
According to Watervliet Police, officers responded to a shooting near 23rd Street and Second Avenue. After arriving, police say they found Kasiyan Payne, Kyle Fowlkes, and Angadi Jones several blocks away in possession of a gun without legal authorization. All three were arrested.
Police say Flynn's involvement in aiding the shooting underscored the nature of the case. He is accused of helping another defendant commit the shooting and more.
Charges:
- Second-degree hindering prosecution
- Fourth-degree criminal facilitation
- Tampering with physical evidence
Flynn was released on an appearance ticket.
