The TikToker used three ingredients rich in antioxidants to create her DIY spray[/caption]In her video, Kate (@yourmategingerkate) explained how to get “that feeling of freshness and hydration in a spray.”
The TikToker talked her viewers through making her “morning miracle mist.”
For her first step, Kate added a tablespoon of aloe vera gel to a three-ounce spray bottle.
She explained that aloe helps to hydrate the skin and soothe irritation.
The antioxidant-rich ingredient can also help control acne, promote healing, and aid in anti-aging.
“After your aloe vera gel, you’re then going to add two teaspoons of Vitamin E oil,” Kate told her audience.
Three steps to make morning mist spray
- Add 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel to a spray bottle
- Add 2 tsp of Vitamin E oil
- Pour 24 oz of rose water and mix
- Optional: Add 5 drops of frankincense
Vitamin E oil also has anti-aging properties and “soothes and softens skin.”
The “powerful antioxidant” also helps to support skin healing and reduces scars.
For her final ingredient, Kate poured 24 ounces of rose water into the mixture.
The ingredient helps to balance the skin’s pH, reducing redness and enhancing radiance.
Rich in antioxidants, it can even be used as a natural toner for your complexion.
“Mix it all up until it’s all combined and you can either pour this straight into your bottle or if you want to supercharge it, we’re going to add frankincense,” Kate said.
Adding five drops of the essential oil, she explained that it can penetrate the cells and help with their renewal.
“It’s literally the serum of the gods,” Kate told her audience as she sprayed the mist onto her face.
“That feels good, what a pick me up in the middle of the day, just pop it into your handbag.
“This is it in natural light, as you can see, it looks very hydrated and fresh but not at all oily and greasy.”
