AUSTIN (KXAN) — So many fun things happen each weekend throughout Central Texas, so KXAN would like to narrow down the list for anyone looking for something to do.
Meteorologist Nick Bannin joins KXAN Live anchor Will DuPree to talk through a few events they found on the calendar that people might like to attend.
Thursday
- It's National Margarita Day, and a number of restaurants and bars throughout the city are offering specials.
Saturday
- Ryan Rodeo - 5 p.m. at Buck Wild on Sixth Street. Organizers are hoping to break a world record for the largest gathering of people with the same name in one place.
- Austin Modern Home Tour - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets range in price from $15 to $125. It's organized by the Modern Architecture + Design Society.
- Austin FC opener - 7:30 p.m. at Q2 Stadium. CapMetro is offering free rides to Q2, and it's celebrating the opening of the McKalla Station on the same day.
Sunday
- 42nd Annual Austin Music Awards - 7 p.m. at Antone's Nightclub. Tickets are $20 apiece.
