Alabama Barker ‘looks to have spent $10k on fillers & risks going too far’ – after insisting she’s ‘naturally beautiful’
TEEN influencer Alabama Barker has been splashing out on lip filler with the help of her parents for up to two years, a plastic surgeon has claimed.
He said her body transformation looked natural, but at the start, Travis Barker or Shanna Moakler would have consented to a surgeon plumping up her “volumized” lips.
Dr. Richard Westreich told The U.S. Sun that Alabama (seen here in 2018, age 12) would have been undergoing a lot of growth and development between 12 and 18[/caption]Alabama, who turned 18 in December, shared a photo on Instagram on Tuesday where she posed with her friend in the back of a car.
The blonde sported long eyelashes and heavily lined lips.
“Y’all , look like bratz dolls,” commented one fan.
“Your mouth,” another wrote.
In another Instagram image, Alabama posed in front of her new car.
She was wearing a see-through outfit and plenty of makeup.
“What’s the point of getting lip fillers if your just going to over line,” commented one follower.
On February 15, Alabama responded to comments surrounding her potential use of cosmetic treatments.
“I really appreciate the love ! I’m natural, besides my lips, accept the fact I’m naturally beautiful,” she said.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Westreich said Travis’s daughter was “adding lines” to make her filled lips look bigger.
“Alabama has probably been getting filler injected for two years already,” Westreich told The U.S Sun.
“So far, she has probably had around three to four rounds of filler added into both upper and lower lips.
“Alabama would have likely spent up to $10,000 on her lips already.
“She does a lot of accentuating with the pencil drawing outside her lip.
“Generally, somebody that does this lip filler at age 16 or 17 and then adds the lines on top, this means she might go further with it all.”
Westreich claimed Alabama, the stepdaughter of Kourtney Kardashian, 44, has been “volumizing” her lips likely since age 16.
“It looks like she might have been doing the lip fillers for a year or so, even perhaps as far back as age 16,” he said.
It will take at least three or four filler sessions to go from where she was to where she is now
Dr. Richard Westreich
“The upper lip, in particular, has gotten significantly more volumized.
“There has been a progression in her use of the filler.
“Most of the time, it will take at least three or four filler sessions to go from where she was to where she is.
“I have a slightly more conservative viewpoint on lips.
“By 2024, Alabama looks slightly like she would be moving toward being overfilled.”
Alabama showed off her plumped lips in a short Instagram Live in 2023, which Dr. Westreich said looked overfilled[/caption]In 2023, Alabama asked fans and followers to stop commenting about her changing body shape.
There was speculation that she had gone under the knife and had a BBL and a boob job.
She told her TikTok followers that she had an autoimmune disease.
Alabama claimed she also had issues with her thyroid, and these had led to a gain in weight.
Alabama’s (seen here, age 17) shape of her lips had changed by 18, said a plastic surgeon[/caption]Westreich suggested Alabama’s changed body shape would also be down to the usual development as a teen.
“Looking at Alabama Barker, it would be difficult to confirm if she had any surgery,” he said.
“Between the ages of 12 and 18, people are undergoing puberty.
Many changes in Alabama are just the results of typical growth and development
Dr. Richard Westreich
“During these stages, there is a lot of growth and development.
“It would not be unusual for her face to change a lot.
“People’s noses get bigger, and people get bumps on their noses.
“The jaw will grow for women and into Alabama’s early 20s.
“Sometimes, until the mid-20s, the facial shape will change.
“Many changes in Alabama are just the results of typical growth and development.
“The one change I see by 17 and definitely by 18 is the shape of her lips.
“This has changed, and that’s the result of the lip filler.”
Alabama (seen here in 2022, age 16) has admitted to getting lip filler in the past[/caption]Alabama turned 18 on December 24 and enjoys a lavish lifestyle in California alongside her brother Landon.
Travis gifted her a pricy white Birkin bag for Christmas, which cost up to $25,000.
She also showed off a new wheel of a Mercedes G-Wagon, which can cost over $220,000.
Interestingly, Blink 182 drummer Travis has been criticized for commenting on Alabama in the past.
Travis Barker said in his memoir that Alabama (seen here in 2007) had a bubble butt as a baby[/caption]His ex-wife Shanna, 49, gave birth to Landon, 20, and Alabama in 2003 and 2005, respectively.
After two years of marriage, in 2008, the couple split, with them sharing custody of both children.
I can not tell if Alabama has had Botox also because she is so young
Dr. Richard Westreich
“I couldn’t believe I had a little girl when we got home. And when she was a baby, she had a crazy bubble butt,” he wrote in his 2015 memoir.
“After all the s**t I had done to girls through my life, I knew I was cursed,” he added.
On her 18th birthday, Alabama posed in a lace dress for another Instagram photo.
“I’m legal now. What?! Oh, okay,” she wrote online.
Alabama showed off her curves in a lacy black body suit[/caption]Westreich said Alabama’s parents would have had to consent to her lip filler in the past.
“Alabama would have had to have got consent from her mom or her dad to get the lip filler at 16 or 17.
“Travis or her mom would have given parental consent for the filler injections, and they would have had to have filled out a form for her.
“Teenagers would be able to get filler with parental consent, but getting it Is just not super common
Dr. Richard Westreich
“One of them would have been there with her when she started it.
“Fillers have complications, and we would not know what fillers she has had.
“I can not tell if Alabama has had Botox also because she is so young.
“I have a few teenage patients in my practice, not a lot.
“We always have to assess the maturation of the patient.
“This is to understand whether or not they will be able to tolerate any treatments and the recovery.
“We also need to check whether or not they are really able to make a well-informed decision.
“Teenagers would be able to get filler with parental consent, but getting it Is just not super common.”
