I transformed my dull bathroom into an epic space in 24 hours using Five Below buys & cheap Etsy prints – I slayed it
AN interior design aficionado set his sights on his powder room.
Not wanting to break the bank but still hoping for a chic finish, he headed to Five Below, Lowe’s, and Etsy to elevate the space.
Interior designer Jonny (@vintageshowpony) said the time has come for a little bathroom makeover.
And he got it all done in 24 hours.
Revealing that the bathroom was connected to a pink, frilly sitting area, he said he wanted it to be just as cute and themed.
“I just got back from lady Lowe’s, and we got paint,” he said in the clip, adding that the whole renovation was inspired by a funky colorful wallpaper he got in the mail.
“Obviously, we’re going for chaotic.”
Jonny began painting the walls in a bright shade of purple, which got an “immediate yes” from him.
Waiting for it to dry, he showed off the pop art print he bought from Etsy.
“I highly recommend getting digital downloads from Etsy and then just framing them.”
Finally, he installed the focal point: his wallpaper.
While it wasn’t easy to line the sheets of wallpaper up and remove all the bubbles, he was “loving” how it turned out.
Not a fan of the gold hardware under his sink or on his toilet, he painted both hot pink to match the ambiance.
He was most excited, however, about his new mirror.
“Oh my God, the star of the show has arrived. Do you see this right now? This is an ice-cream sandwich mirror,” he said, raving about the piece that was custom made for him.
“Imagine serving face in this mirror.”
When he revealed the final product, he couldn’t help but gush.
“Oh my gosh guys, it’s so epic. Like, are you seeing this? I’m just loving the whole vibe in here. Before it was like muted and dull and now it’s like, BAM.”
In the caption, he revealed that he did the whole thing in just “24 hours,” alongside the hashtags #fivebelow and #diyprojects.
Viewers applauded his talent.
“Omg I feel like people should pay to use this bathroom, it’s seriously gorgeous,” one person wrote.
“The wallpaper is AMAZING! So my vibe,” added another.
