Love Island fans are just realising ITV have axed post-villa tradition that would have caused a HUGE bust-up
SOME All Stars fans have only just realised ITV have axed an anticipated post-villa tradition.
Viewers of Love Island are usually eager for the Islanders to spill the tea as they come face to face at the televised reunion.
Molly Smith and Tom Clare won the special All Stars edition of Love Island[/caption] Fans are still wondering why there was no reunion for the show[/caption]For this year, there would have been more drama than ever, especially as the likes of Georgia Steel caused much controversy on the ITV2 show.
However, The Sun previously revealed that the anticipated reunion for All Stars had been axed, but it seems some fans are still only just finding out.
On the social media site Reddit, in a new fan forum thread, one viewer questioned whether a reunion would still be going ahead.
They asked: “Will they have a reunion for this season???”
But another fan soon relayed the bad news as they replied: “I think the finale doubled as a reunion.”
All the contestants were briefly brought back to the series for the big twist and they were later interviewed at the final.
Another enthusiast noted that this could be the reason why there was no dedicated reunion show.
They wrote: “Ohhh yeah probably why they invited all of them back and interviewed them.”
ITV previously scrapped both the spin-off show Aftersun and they also decided to ditch the infamous Casa Amor twist for the special instalment.
But bosses wielded their axe to the dedicated debrief show in a bid to make All Stars completely different to the regular series, but they did previously confirm the finale would have a special focus.
Executive producer Mike Spencer previously confirmed to us: “We don’t have a reunion show this year. So I think the final will answer some of those fan questions that would have been asked at the reunion.
“We’re going to tweak the final this time around, so it’s not going to be like we do it every year. I can’t say much more than that at this stage.”
The format of the final was reshaped to double up as more of a recap[/caption]Love Island All Stars final places
