‘Sloppy seconds’ rants MAFS star as they claim Katie Price dating JJ Slater is ‘a kick in the teeth’ to his ex Ella
A MARRIED At First Sight star has slammed Katie Price for taking Ella Morgan’s “sloppy seconds” amid her romance with JJ Slater.
Katie, 45, and JJ, 31, recently went public with their relationship, after he grew close to Ella, 29, during their time on MAFS UK.
Now JJ’s former co-star Tasha Jay has spoken out – insisting him getting with Katie is a “kick in the teeth” to Ella.
Speaking to Bobby Norris and Ellen Coughlan on FUBAR Radio, Tasha, 25, said: “Katie reached out to Ella before Katie had met JJ. Katie was so lovely to Ella and so supportive and giving her so many compliments, just being a genuine person.
“Then next thing you know she’s got her sloppy seconds. She’s not heartbroken and crying into a tub of Ben and Jerry’s but it was a bit of a kick in the teeth at first. It’s early days and they’re talking about babies and stuff now apparently so I’m just a bit confused.”
Tasha continued: “I do love JJ, we got on like a house on fire when we were filming but I just don’t know. I mean Katie is his type, so he says.
“But my only thing is, the reasons that he didn’t want to be with Ella, Katie does a lot of those things. That’s the one thing that’s confused me.”
Former glamour model Katie – who last week enjoyed a romantic skiing holiday with JJ – today broke her silence on the relationship, revealing he snubbed her on Valentine’s Day.
Speaking to her sister Sophie on The Katie Price podcast, Katie revealed she only received a packet of love hearts and chocolates from her hairstylist Kate.
“That is the only thing I got for Valentine’s. I got no one, no one,” she said.
Sophie asked: “Did JJ not get you anything?”
Katie replied: “Oh he’s not my boyfriend ….. I haven’t got a boyfriend have I?”
Katie then added: “Why can’t someone send me flowers or a pair of shoes and a handbag? I’m very disappointed.”
Since the podcast was recorded on Valentine’s Day, JJ and Katie’s relationship appear to be back on track, with JJ recently being introduced to her youngest children.
A source told The Sun: “Katie’s already introduced JJ to her youngest kids.
“It’s so important to her that he gets along with them as they’re a huge part of her life.
“They’ve been talking for a while but it seems like it’s already getting serious.”
