Report: Spurs are ‘willing to go all out’ to sign 20-year-old midfielder
According to Boca Noticias (as translated by Sport Witness), Tottenham Hotspur are now intent on signing Boca Juniors starlet Ezequiel Fernandez next summer.
Tottenham raided Argentine football for one of their most promising young talents last summer, securing the services of Alejo Veliz from Rosario Central.
It has now emerged that the North London side have their eye on another emerging talent from the South American nation, with Fernandez said to be on their radar.
The 21-year-old, who is a number six by trade but can also operate in a box-to-box role, has impressed since breaking into Boca Juniors’ senior side.

The outlet adds that the Premier League side have ‘appeared eager’ to sign Fernandez, with Boca said to be well aware of Spurs’ interest.
In fact, it is alleged that although the Argentinean side do not wish to lose the midfielder, they believe that he might be ‘close’ to departing the club.
Finally, the publication adds that Inter Milan also have their eyes on the Boca star but they have not made a formal approach for the youngster so far.
