Emmerdale star Dean Andrews says he’s ‘happy I woke up’ as he’s rushed to hospital for surgery

EMMERDALE star Dean Andrews has revealed he was rushed to hospital and shared a snap from hospital bed.

The 60-year-old actor took to Instagram to post a photo of him post surgery and told fans he’s “happy to have woken up”.

Dean, who plays Will Taylor in the ITV soap, wrote alongside his upload: “Surgery went well. Very happy to have woken up. Many thanks to my surgeon Chris and all the staff.”

He didn’t give any details as to why he was in hospital, but fans rushed to send messages.

One wrote: “Best wishes for a speedy recovery.”

Another said: “Get well soon. Take it easy.” And a third added: “Hope you are ok. Sending loads of love to you.”
