Trump cheers possible retirement of foe Jimmy Kimmel
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel might be on his last contract, he said in an interview this week. It is something Donald Trump is excited to hear.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Kimmel explained, "I think this is my final contract. I hate to even say it, because everyone's laughing at me now — each time I think that, and then it turns out to not be the case."
Kimmel recently celebrated the 21st anniversary of his show and has a little more than two years left on his contract.
"They could get a far more talented person, who would also get better Ratings, for 5% of what they are paying this Loser!" Trump posted on his personal site, Truth Social.

Kimmel's ratings are actually impressive and have been for some time. Reports from Variety, Deadline, and The Wrap show Kimmel as number one or two in late-night shows for the past three months.
The only other show that bested Kimmel was fellow anti-Trump host Stephen Colbert.
Kimmel is a frequent critic of Trump on his ABC show, and has often drawn the former Trump's ire with his bashes.
