AN interiors guru is shocked after snagging a beautiful piece of furniture at Walmart.
While it may be from a chain store that sells groceries and school supplies as well, it looks straight out of a magazine.
Kerry Johnston (@johnston.designs_) is an interior designer who opts for “neutral and organic” pieces in her home.
She often shares her “attainable DIYS and affordable home design” ideas on TikTok.
And her latest Walmart find is all of those things.
In a clip, she filmed her curated, high-end home before revealing the piece she was so proud of.
The black wood cabinet featured an arched silhouette and glass doors that had sleek handles on their edges.
Inside, there were natural wooden shelves that she filled with various home accessories like vases, sculptures, coffee table books, and decorative boxes and trays.
“Can you believe this arched cabinet is from Walmart for only $398?!” she wrote, later adding in the comments that other designer arched cabinets cost way more.
She warned her followers to run, not walk, if they have their eyes on it.
“I shared this in my Instagram stories the other day and it sold out fast. It keeps coming in and out of stock, so the best thing to do is keep checking.”
She praised the “scale,” of it, noting that is was a large piece at 72 inches hall, and said it’s sturdy and appears high-end.
While you have to assemble it yourself, she said it was worth it given how great it compliments her space.
Viewers applauded her good eye.
