Allentown barber sentenced for engaging in sexual conduct with underage victim
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Kenmore man who ran a barbershop in Buffalo's Allentown neighborhood has been sentenced to six months in jail for engaging in sexual conduct with an underage victim in 2018 and 2019, the Erie County District Attorney's office said Thursday.
Justin Barker, 36, engaged in the conduct on multiple occasions with a victim who was less than 15 years old between March 2018 and October 2019. The crimes occurred in Amherst and Buffalo.
Barker ran "The Standard" barbershop on Allen Street in Buffalo, which is now listed as "permanently closed."
Barker pleaded guilty in November to two counts of second-degree criminal sexual act. A final order of protection was also issued on behalf of the victim until February 2034. He will also have 10 years of probation with sex offender conditions, while he will also be required to register as a sex offender.
