UPDATE: Woman in critical condition after shooting in Warr Acres

UPDATE @ 5:01 P.M.

The shooting victim who was transported to the hospital from a CVS in Warr Acres is in critical condition, according to an update from Oklahoma City Police.

OKCPD says that a male driver and a female passenger were driving down Ann Arbor when the woman was shot in the head.

The man drove to the CVS to call for help, and an off-duty officer with The Village Police Department was at the location when they arrived.

Police say the events leading up to the woman being shot are unclear at this time.

The man is currently being questioned by detectives as the investigation continues.

UPDATE @ 4:06 P.M.

News 4's Spencer Humphrey reports that both Warr Acres Police and Oklahoma City Police are working at the scene.

Police say one person was shot in the CVS parking lot just after 3 p.m. and has been transported to the hospital. The victim's condition is currently unknown.

The CVS Pharmacy is located near Central Elementary School, but there is no indication that dismissal at the school has been delayed or interrupted.

WARR ACRES, Okla. (KFOR) — Police are responding to a reported shooting at a CVS Pharmacy near NW 40th Street and N MacArthur Boulevard in Warr Acres.
