A woman claims to have fixed her issue with some simple steps, including a purse-friendly £11 Boots buy.
Jilian, who posts under @servinglocks, said there were three main things she switched up that left her hair “20 times” better.
In a clip which has racked up nearly 5,000 likes, she said: “How I transformed my hair from here to here in just one month.”
1. Ditch heat
The first thing the beauty lover did was to “stop using heat” on her hair.
She added: “Yes, that also means I didn’t blow dry it either.
“Aside from cutting out heat, there were also some other factors that helped contribute to my hair transformation.”
2. Get on the heatless curl hype
Jilian said that she swears by doing heatless curls using silk curling rods.
She explained: “Because I wasn’t heat styling my hair, I was doing a lot of heatless curls, so I was sleeping in my heatless curling rod almost every night.
“And not only does that act as a protective hairstyle while you sleep, but usually the fabric is satin or silk, so it’s gonna make your hair feel extra soft, silky, and smooth.”
3. Switch up your products
Her third piece of advice was to use some quality products.
Jilian explained: “Now, let me walk you through the hair treatments I was using during the last month.
“I was doing a hair mask once a week, and this is not new to me.
“I’ve been doing this for as long as I can remember.
“Hair masks are definitely a necessity in my hair care routine.
“I’ve been using this Kerastase hair mask over the last month.
“It’s super hydrating, super thick and creamy. Definitely recommend this if you have dry hair.”
Her second product she uses is Redkin Acidic Perfecting Concentrate Leave in treatment.
Jilian continued: “I’ve talked about this on my page before, but this is one of my absolute favourite leave-in treatments, the product smells so good. The texture is so nice and silky.”

She said: “I typically gravitate towards heavier, thicker oils because I do have dry bleached hair, and this one’s definitely on the thicker side.
“It does have silicones, but unpopular opinion. I love silicones – they make my hair feel and look so smooth and silky.”
