Winterfest returns to Lawson Lake

FEURA BUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Albany County Parks and Recreation is hosting the return of the annual Winterfest this weekend at Lawson Lake County Park. The event will be held on February 24.

The festival will feature winter activities for all ages, including ice skating, ice fishing, a snowmobile showcase and ice rescue demonstrations. The event will also host a sled dog meet and greet.

Lorraine's Nacho Bar and More food truck will be in attendance helping to keep the crowd warm, offering coffee, hot chocolate, chicken and biscuits, chili and soup. Winterfest runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lawson Lake County Park is located at 293 Lawson Lake Road in Feura Bush. The festival is free to attend and open to the public.
