GLADIATORS fans have been left baffled as they spot an ‘annoying’ detail about host Bradley Walsh and his son Barney.
Viewers have tuned into the physical challenge gameshow for seven weeks as the BBC rebooted the hit nineties series.
As the previous contestants return for the quarter finals, they are getting fed up with one repetitive aspect of the format.
The Chase host Bradley, 63, always wears a burgundy coloured suit for the red team.
This is whilst his son Barney, 26, has been seen sporting a navy ensemble to represent the blue competitors.
Despite filming a number of episodes of Gladiators over many days, the pair have always been seen in the same outfits, something fans are not happy with
Viewers have taken to X – formerly known as social media – as they fumed at the choice.
One viewer sarcastically laughed: “It’s 7 weeks since this show has returned. Yet the presenters Bradley Walsh and his son Barney are still wearing their same suits. #Gladiators.”
A second asked: “Did Bradley and Barney only pack one outfit each for their trip to Sheffield? #Gladiators.”
Whilst a third posted: “I wonder what Bradley and Barney will be wearing this evening?”, alongside a GIF of Katy Perry from American Idol with the tagline ‘Said no one ever’.”
“We know they’re not all filmed on the same day. Please let Bradley and Barney wear different suits. #Gladiators #BBCOne,” stated a fourth fan.
And a fifth wrote: “Brad and sprogs outfits are taking continuity to a new level.
They added: “You can’t convince me they didn’t bash out most of the links and stuff for the entire series in a single morning.”
Other viewers have called for the pair to be replaced by different personalities if the BBC commissioned the show for a second series.
One viewer suggested: “Absolutely love #Gladiators but please replace Bradley and Barney in the next series.”
Another raged: “Bradley, calling The Gladiators “the Glads” is cringy and annoying!! Just stop!! .”
Whilst a third joked: “So will Brad & Barney return for 2nd series of #gladiators & will they still have the same suits on .”
And a fourth added: “Get rid of the both and put some actual sports personalities in.”
