Former Indian cricketing maestro Virender Sehwag showered praise upon spinner Kuldeep Yadav, labeling him as “one of the least hyped individuals” in the current cricketing landscape. Kuldeep showcased brilliance on Day 3 of the fourth Test match against England in Ranchi, contributing significantly with both bat and ball. Sehwag emphasized on social media that Kuldeep, despite his exceptional performances, has not garnered significant attention or hype online, unlike other players. However, Sehwag underscored Kuldeep’s consistent contributions to the Indian cricket team, asserting that he deserves greater recognition and acclaim for his talent and dedication.

“When it comes to hype, one of the least hyped guys is Kuldeep Yadav. Been exceptional for many years, but never got a online fan club or people to hype him as the next big thing. Deserves a lot more credit and hype than he gets,” Sehwag posted on X 

Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin showered praise on Kuldeep Yadav and budding wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel for their resilience and composed partnership, acknowledging their crucial role in steering India towards safety.

In a remarkable turn of events, India capitalized on Ashwin’s five-wicket haul to restrict England to a meager total of 145 runs in their second innings, thereby setting a target of 192 runs to secure victory in the series on the third day of the fourth Test.

Earlier in the match, Jurel and Kuldeep displayed admirable determination, forging a valuable 76-run alliance for the eighth wicket. Their partnership proved instrumental in mitigating India’s precarious position of 219/7, effectively narrowing the deficit to a mere 46 runs following India’s first innings total of 307 runs.
