Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi legislators protested at the Maharashtra legislative assembly's Budget session, accusing the government of misleading Maratha and Other Backward Classes (OBC) communities. The session began with the presentation of the vote on account. The Opposition criticized the Eknath Shinde-led government on the quota issue. Last week, the legislature passed a bill providing 10% reservation for Marathas.
