Love Island fans ‘work out’ reason behind Tyrique and Ella’s shock split as she announces she’s moving to London
LOVE Island fans think they’ve worked out the real reason behind Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas’ shock split.
The Sun revealed today that Ella, 23, and Tyrique, 24, had ended things for a second time – with the pair wiping each other from their social media profiles.
The fomer couple briefly split back in November before patching things up, but now it appears the couple have called it quits for good – with Ella announcing she’s moving to London.
Reddit users have set Love Island chatrooms ablaze with speculation about why they decided to call it a day.
With Ella based in Scotland and Ty in Essex, some believed the long-distance romance added to their relationship struggles.
One wrote, “Tbh i won’t be surprised if they are broken up. I just never thought it was gonna last. I really liked them but last year when he started liking and unliking girls pictures when he got called out made me side eye him, it happened way too often.”
Someone else added, “Also him saying they would move to London together then saying they should move in together in Essex then eventually fully admitting that he doesn’t want to. I honestly don’t think he has changed much, being in the villa and the outside world are two different things.”
Another agreed, “This is the best thing for her. They were constantly rocky in the villa, and I think they are wildly attracted to each other but basically incompatible as a couple.”
It appears the split happened in recent days as the exes seemed very loved up on Valentine’s Day. Ty treated Ella to a Louis Vuitton bag worth £1,200.
They also tucked into a romantic dinner for two and spent the night at a hotel where Ty had the room decked out with love heart balloons.
A source close to the couple told us: “They have tried really hard but just been having constant arguments.
“At the end of day they want different things and it’s too hard to make it work. They are saying it’s over for good this time and there is no going back.”
