PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A woman who stole 30 lottery scratch tickets from a gas station in Salmon Creek managed to drive away before being caught, authorities say.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the woman driving a black Subaru Legacy/Impreza walked into the 7-11 and asked for the tickets, which the clerk ripped off and started to ring up while customers waited in line.
“The female suspect told the clerk to help the others first,” deputies say. “While doing so, the female placed the lottery tickets into her purse without paying and left the store in the pictured vehicle.”
Officials ask anyone who can identify this woman to contact the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
