State census sees huge jump in big cat numbers - 30 to NTCA's 20 last year

Odisha govt's tiger census counted 30 big cats, including 27 in Similipal Tiger Reserve. To increase genetic diversity, tigers will be introduced from other reserves. Ex-servicemen will be deployed in Satkosia Tiger Reserve to check poaching and revive habitat.
