Stillwater dominates Fonda in the Class B semifinals
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Stillwater boys showed why they are the number one seed in Class B after a dominant showing against No. 5 Fonda-Fultonville 57-33.
The Warriors opened the game on a 15-2 run, but they still weren't satisfied. In the second quarter, they pushed the envelope, showig off their explosive offense, with Kaelan Leak dropping 11 points and Jaxon Mueller adding seven.
Mueller scored 13 points in the third quarter and led the team with 21 overall. In addition, Stillwater's defense held the Braves' offense to single digits over the first three quarters. Fonda scored 18 points in the fourth quarter.
The Warriors will play the winner of Mechanicville vs Schuylerville in the Class B championship game on Saturday March 1, at 6:45 pm at Cool Insuring Arena.
