Emiliano Marcondes is relishing the prospect of his first taste of the Edinburgh Derby on Wednesday evening.
The Hibs forward joined on loan from Bournemouth in January and has hit the ground running in Hibs green and white.
Emi scored his first goal for the Club at Pittodrie earlier this month, before playing a key role in both goals in our 2-1 victory over Dundee at Easter Road last time out.
Now, the 28-year-old has his eyes set on making his mark on the Edinburgh Derby.
“I am really excited, I have heard a lot of good things about the Edinburgh Derby and I can’t wait to experience it.
“The lads say it’s the best game of the season. At their stadium it is quite crowded and the fans are close to the pitch so we know it is going to be tough. The first 10, 15 minutes is not going to be football they say, but I am ready for it; I am ready to go there, to play, to fight and to give everything for a win.”

The Hibees come into this one off the back of an important victory against Dundee which brought us to within two points of the top six.
“In terms of preparation, we haven’t changed much – it is another important game and we have prepared tactically for what we are going to do and for what we are going to face.
“We have a lot more confidence after the win against Dundee – it is always good to get three points ahead of a Derby and they had a big loss as well so hopefully we can put them under pressure from the first minute.”
