Huge coffee chain with 2,000 branches adds Kit Kat muffin to Easter menu – how choc fans can get it EARLY
A MAJOR coffee chain has announced it is adding a new chocolate muffin to the menu along with brand-new drinks to celebrate the leap year.
The chain unveiled its spring menu with a fan-favourite returning to the menu.
Costa revealed today that it will be adding a chocolate muffin made with KitKat as part of their spring menu which starts this Thursday (29th February).
The muffin will be filled with KitKat’s flavoured paste and will be topped with frosting and a KitKat Bunny Mini.
It comes as Costa is set to reintroduce their indulgent drinks range made with KitKat.
Coffee drinkers will be thrilled to be reunited with one of the chain’s most popular drinks.
Costa KitKat fans will need to sign up to become a Costa Club app member to get early access to the KitKat drinks range.
It is free to join the Costa Club app and you’ll be able to unlock rewards including a complimentary cake on your birthday and exclusive rewards through Treat Drop.
Joining Costa’s new Chocolate KitKat Muffin are the Mini Egg Cookie and the Chocolate Cornflake Nest both mouthwatering treats for this Easter.
The popular coffee chain will also add new sandwiches to its spring menu including a new Halloumi and Chargrilled Veg Toastie.
From Thursday Costa Coffee will introduce their new breakfast deal where customers can either get a drink and bap for just under £6.50, or grab a drink and a pastry for less than £5.
It’s not yet confirmed how long the drinks will be available for, we will update this story once we hear more.
All customers will be able to choose items from the Spring menu this Thursday (29th February).
What is the Costa rewards scheme?
If you sign up for the Costa coffee rewards scheme you can get a free medium size drink after you buy ten coffees.
You will need to download the Costa Club app so you can scan your drinks a collect a bean for each medium purchase.
However, if you bring in a reusable cup for your coffee, you can get two beans for every drink ordered – meaning you can get a free coffee every four drinks.
It is not yet confirmed how much some items on the Spring menu will be – we’ve asked and will update this story once we hear back.
