Insurance Auto The Federal Trade Commission introduced a new rule to help consumers understand their rights during the vehicle purchasing process. The Combating Auto Retail Scams Rule (CARS) clearly outlines what dealers must disclose to potential buyers in terms of vehicle price, total payment and add-ons. This rule will take effect July 30, 2024 and is estimated to save car shoppers about $3.4 billion dollars a year.

Congestion pricing and rising tolls: unexpected ways car ownership may get more expensive

To reduce vehicle congestion, limit emissions and promote public transportation use, the Manhattan Transit Authority created the Central Business District Tolling Program, which may charge drivers up to $15 to drive above 60th St. Currently, the city is accepting public comments on this change until March 11, 2024.
