Joe Biden Says He Disagrees With Catholic Church on Protecting Unborn Children

Joe Biden claims to be a “devout Catholic” but today he admitted he disagrees with the Catholic Church on protecting unborn children from being destroyed in IVF treatments.

Asked if he agrees with the Catholic Church’s pro-life teachings about the welfare of human embryos created under in-vitro fertilization, Biden aid he’s at odds with the Church he claims to so steadfastly support.

“The Catholic Church says IVF is immoral and wrong because it destroys countless human embryos. What do you say to that?” EWTN White House correspondent Owen Jensen asked today.

“I don’t agree with that position,” Biden responded before walking away.

His comments come after action in the Sneate yesterday. Democrats promoted a fake IVF bill that claimed to support in-vitro fertilization but in reality would have allowed human embryos to be destroyed.

Because it was a fake bill that did not just promote IVF, Republicans were forced to block it.

On Wednesday, Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith from Mississippi blocked passage of the bill. This action followed the Alabama Supreme Court’s recent decision ruling that frozen embryos should be considered unborn children.

Senator Tammy Duckworth, a Democrat from Illinois, urged the Senate to bypass procedural hurdles and swiftly approve the Access to Family Building Act through unanimous consent on the Senate floor Wednesday afternoon. Republicans stopped the radical bill because it contains numerous problems.
