Four arrested in Albany following drug investigation
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Four people were arrested in Albany following a drug investigation, according to police. Faylon Sales, 29, Jahquan Brown, 29, and Aaron Bennett, 34, all of Albany, as well as Jaymeen Gaddy, 30, of Cohoes, are each facing multiple charges.
As part of an ongoing investigation, detectives from the Albany Police Department executed a search warrant at a house on the 300 block of First Street around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday night. During the search, police recovered quantities of crack cocaine, fentanyl and pills.
All four suspects were charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. The four were arraigned at the Albany City Criminal Court and all were remanded to the Albany County Jail except for Brown, who was released after being arraigned.
