In a long-running legal feud involving five Indian brothers, a US jury has ordered Haresh Jogani to pay more than $2.5 billion in damages to his siblings and divide shares of their Southern California property empire, comprising about 17,000 apartments. The case alleges Haresh breached a partnership with his brothers, and the punitive damages hearing on Monday may increase the award.
