While the increase from 6 to 7 crore unique investors took about nine months, the next crore investors came in 8 months, and the jump from 8 to 9 crore took just 5 months. The benchmark index Nifty 50 has risen 27% in 2024 so far, while the Nifty 500 delivered a 38% return.
