CP Work Desk
CP Work Desk is a minimal desk created by Seoul-based studio Bacci For Dwelling. This desk diverges from conventional designs by opting for an irregular shape that integrates both diagonal and straight lines. This innovative shape does not confine users to a single direction or usage pattern, offering them the flexibility to engage with the desk from multiple perspectives. The CP Work Desk’s asymmetrical form not only disrupts the monotony of traditional office furniture but also infuses a dynamic energy into the workspace. This design choice promotes a more interactive and engaging environment, reflecting the desk’s ability to adapt to the user’s needs. The legs of the desk, resembling shelves, provide storage solutions while maintaining a sleek appearance.
Despite their solid look, these legs are designed with hollow interiors, contributing to the overall sense of spaciousness. The desk’s construction features a practical approach to assembly and mobility. Nuts embedded on the underside of the desktop allow for a straightforward connection to the legs with bolts. This design ensures that the desk can be easily dismantled using a wrench, facilitating transport and reconfiguration. The application of water-based paint with a clean and matte finish enhances the desk’s aesthetic, aligning with the design firm’s philosophy of simplicity with a hint of wit. This finish not only contributes to the desk’s visual appeal but also underscores the brand’s commitment to creating organized, yet lively, workspaces.
