Cambodia's largest seaport sees growth in container throughput last year

PHNOM PENH, March 1 (Xinhua) -- The state-owned Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS), Cambodia's largest shipping facility, saw a 6.35 percent rise in container volume in 2023, said its report released on Friday.

The seaport handled 797,778 20-foot-equivalent units, or TEUs (standard-sized containers), last year, up 6.35 percent from 750,148 TEUs a year earlier, the report said.
