Cocktail bar sets opening for former Pinhead Susan's in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A new restaurant and cocktail bar is officially set to open in Schenectady. Vice & Virtue will be opening in the former Pinhead Susan's space at 38-40 North Broadway.

"After a minor delay, we are ready to open," said a post on the Vice & Virtue Facebook page. "Our team has poured their heart and soul into this project, and we are thrilled to start serving our community."

Vice & Virtue is having a friends and family celebration on March 7 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. On March 8, the restaurant is set to officially open to the public. The restaurant was originally scheduled to open in the fall of 2023.

Pinhead Susan’s, the former Irish pub at that location, closed in April 2023. At that time, property owner Joey Faizy didn’t know exactly why the pub closed, but thought the previous owners didn’t have the resources to keep the place up and running.

The cocktail bar's menu and hours of operation have not yet been posted online. The Vice & Virtue team did not immediately respond to NEWS10's request for comment.
