Shehbaz Sharif, leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, will take oath as Prime Minister for the second time. He was backed by Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League(Q), Muttahida Qaumi Movement(MQM-P), Balochistan Awami Party, National Party, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI). Army Chief Gen Asim Munir, caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, President Arif Alvi, and Omar Ayub Khan will attend the ceremony.
