Barrister Gohar Ali Khan was elected as the chairman of Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party in fresh intra-party polls. The election was held due to the rejection of last year's elections by the Election Commission of Pakistan. Omar Ayub Khan was elected as the party's secretary general unopposed.
