Away Days Brewing, Wayfinder Brewing to open downtown Troutdale locations

(PORTLAND TRIBUNE) -- A pair of British transplants who celebrate English football (soccer) culture and the experience of cheering for your team with delicious food and drinks.

A group of lager-lovers who combine old and new-school techniques to push the envelope of what you can discover within your stein.

Beer drinkers rejoice — a pair of breweries are coming to bookend downtown Troutdale. One is reclaiming the dilapidated former City Hall, while the other is taking over a prominent lot. That means soon there will be a pair of beer halls along the stretch of the Historic Columbia River Highway that serves as the Gateway to the Gorge, as well as exciting new businesses for locals and visitors to frequent.

Both Away Days Brewing and Wayfinder Brewing will soon be pouring pints.

Wayfinder is opening its new Troutdale location at The Highlands, 105 S.W. Second St., this spring, expanding from a central hub in Southeast Portland. That Troutdale building is new construction after a formerly abandoned building was torn down, using the same foundation/footprint. And it’s not just beer — the site will host several exciting businesses for locals to explore.
