Report: Hibs 0 Rangers 3
Mia McAuley would put the away side in front before half-time, before Rio Hardy struck with her first touch. McAuley then scored again to settle the match.
There were two changes to the side that drew with Partick Thistle before the international break, with Shannon Leishman and Lauren Doran-Barr coming into the side to replace Mya Christie and Tegan Bowie.
Club captain Joelle Murray also started, making her 498th appearance for the club in the process.
The Hibees had to battle hard in the first 15 minutes, with the backline working brilliantly to put a stop to numerous advances forward by the away side.
Up for the occasion, Murray would take charge to also slide in brilliantly to deny Rachel Rowe an attempt from the edge of the area.
Finding our footing, Naomi Powell’s wide free-kick would eventually find its way towards Shannon McGregor at the back post. Unmarked, our number 10 would see her header rattle the crossbar.
Nina Wilson would soon pull off a fantastic diving save to deny Rowe once more after she broke on counter.
Her efforts would come to naught however, as McAuley put the away side ahead with a curling effort from inside the area after 28 minutes.
Looking to create an opening back into the game, Powell would be presented with another free-kick opportunity. Laying off to a patient McAlonie in the centre, who would also see her terrific effort cannon off the crossbar after McGregor's earlier effort.
After nearly scoring in the first half, McGregor would be on hand to deny Rangers their second. Jane Ross would take multiple stabs at the ball in a congested box, before our number 10 cleared desperately away on the line.
Wilson would pull off another magnificent, fingertip save to deny the Rangers striker a second opportunity in as many minutes.
With her first touch, Rio Hardy doubled the visitors lead with an hour played. Shortly after, the forward nearly netted again with a powerful and looping strike if not for a strong Wilson stop.
McAuley would grab her second, and Rangers' third, after 77 minutes after blasting past Wilson.
