Congress responded with surprise while in the afternoon, incumbent GPCC President Shaktisinh Gohil told the media that Modvadia was active in organising Nyay Yatra in Dahod until Sunday evening, other senior leaders refused to accept possibility of Modvadia resigning until he actually put in his papers. Rahul Gandhi's yatra is scheduled to enter Gujarat on Thursday.
