Preds F Tommy Novak signs three-year, $10.5M extension

The Nashville Predators signed center Tommy Novak to a three-year, $10.5 million contract on Monday.

Novak, 26, has recorded 34 points (13 goals, 21 assists) through 51 games this season.

Without a new deal, he would have become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

"It's definitely something you think about," Novak said. "Just to have that security and to be here for the next
