Power restored after Monday Lafayette outage

UPDATE, 2:45 p.m.: According to the LUS outage map, all power has been restored to LUS customers.
ORIGINAL STORY: LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A power outage has left thousands of Lafayette Utility Services customers without power this afternoon.
According to LUS's outage map, 5,996 customers were without power as of 2:30 p.m. today.
