And particularly if cleaning is a chore you can’t stand and don’t want to spend hours on your hands and knees scrubbing, you’ll want to pay attention.

Cleaning whizz Anna Louisa shared the simple and satisfying tricks that she swears by, as well as the 75p Ikea buy you’ll need to nab.

Posting on social media, Anna said: “Three dusting hacks you need to try!”

She then added: “Wait until you see all the dust the last one picks up!”

The first of Anna’s “extremely satisfying dusting hacks” involves using an electrical item you’ll most likely already have in your drawer.

Anna used a hair dryer – yes, you heard that correctly – to remove dust from her radiator.

She explained: “Using a hair dryer on your radiators to easily dislodge any dust.

“I always put a towel down first as normally there is quite a bit.”

As well as this, Anna also recommends using lint rollers, which you can buy for as cheap as 75p from Ikea, to keep her home dust-free.

She then added: “Lint rolling your blinds, headboard and lampshades is another easy way to pick up dust.”

Finally, Anna recommends damp dusting – which is the removal of dirt, bacteria and dust from hard, flat surfaces with a damp cloth or sponge.

She shared the simple trick that will make cleaning much easier, as she concluded: “Damp dusting picks up and traps dust rather than moving it all around.”

I was done in seconds
