Sam Kerr to face criminal trial in England over alleged racial abuse of police officer
March 5 – Chelsea and Australia star Sam Kerr will face a criminal trial next year for alleged racially aggravated harassment of a police officer.
The 30-year-old Kerr (pictured) pleaded not guilty to the offence at a court hearing on Monday, the Crown Prosecution Service said. She is scheduled to appear in Court in February 2025.
“The charge relates to an incident involving a police officer who was responding to a complaint involving a taxi fare on 30 January 2023 in Twickenham,”
