The Odisha government has increased the monthly remuneration of ASHAs to Rs 7,000 and the service exit incentive to Rs 1 lakh. This will benefit 49,522 ASHA workers. The annual expenditure is estimated to be Rs 148.57 crore for remuneration and Rs 55 lakh for exit incentives.
