Clouds linger, some sun, rain returns for weekend

High pressure will move in the wake of the wet weather system that moved north along the Eastern Seaboard, bringing dry weather and mild conditions, but with lingering cloudiness.

Some sunshine will develop later in the day. Temperatures are mild for early March, reaching the mid-50s. Tonight will turn partly cloudy tonight, and morning lows will dip into the low 40s.

A disturbance will head our way for the start of the weekend, bringing periods of rain, beginning Friday afternoon and continuing through Saturday. Rainfall totals will likely reach an inch.

Colder weather swept in by gusty northwesterly winds will develop Saturday night and Sunday, with scattered snow showers.

Skies will be sunny to start next week, as high pressure builds in from the west.
