ACSO: Man arrested for driving with fake license plates

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A man in Albany was arrested and is accused of driving with illegally bought license plates. Gregory Galaratti, 30, is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

On Wednesday, members of the Albany County Sheriff's Office pulled over a car on Watervliet Avenue with alleged fake New York State temporary license plates. Deputies say after an investigation, they found the driver, identified as Galaratti, illegally bought fake temporary license plates and attached them to his car.

Galaratti will arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court on Thursday.
